HOLIDAY ITINERARY
Day 1: We head to Hull for an overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Dinner and breakfast are included on the ferry and accommodation is provided in twin inside low-berth cabins. (Sole occupancy cabins available for a supplement).
Day 2: After a good night’s sleep, we make the short trip to the seaside resort of Scheveningen with time to explore before we check into the Fletcher Hotel located a short walk from the beach.
Day 3: We travel to Amsterdam which has over 800 years of history o discover. From old castles to beautiful museums and from charming secret courtyards to picturesque, cobbled streets, this capital city is a feast for the eyes. You will have time to visit icons of art and culture such as the world-famous Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum or the Anne Frank House.
Day 4: A free day to explore Scheveningen; a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. Attractions include one of the most special museums in the Netherlands, Beelden aan Zee, half hidden in the dunes.
Day 5: We head to the Hague; the largest city by the sea in the Netherlands and the greenest city in Europe. The coastline stretches no less than 11km featuring wide sandy beaches. Attractions include the Dutch Parliament, Mauritshuis, Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Museum Voorlinden, Escher in the Palace and the Prison Gate Museum. Later in the day we travel to Rotterdam for the overnight ferry sailing to Hull. Dinner and breakfast are included on the ferry and accommodation is provided in twin inside low-berth cabins.
Day 6: After breakfast on the ferry, we head back up to Scotland. When you get off the coach, your car will be waiting to take you back home - all part of the Eclipse Door to Door collection.
