Combining beautiful beaches, fantastic shopping and attractions including the UK’s oldest iron pier, there really is something for everyone. Once the European City of Culture, Liverpool is home to multiple museums, including the Tate Liverpool and the Maritime Museum at the Albert Dock plus many historic buildings. For music fans, of course there’s the Beatles Story Museum and the Beatles Trail (entrance not included)
Chester
Enjoy a full day in one of the best-preserved walled cities in the UK. The walls provide a two mile long birds-eye view of this beautiful medieval city, which is almost two thousand years old. Chester boasts a number of historical architectural structures, including Chester Castle, the cathedral and “The Rows”; unique two tiered black and white buildings housing many shops bars and restaurants
