A long standing favourite amongst UK holidaymakers, the Isle of Man offers beautiful scenery in the lush green valleys, roaming hills and rugged coastlines with a large part of the island remaining unpopulated. We travel by coach to Heysham and catch the ferry over to the Island. Our base is the capital of Douglas, which is enviably perched on a two mile long bay which can be explored by Horse trams which run along the promenade.

Excursions

North Island Tour
A full day exploring the North of the Island, including a visit to the famous Laxey Wheel, Ramsey which is the second largest town on the Island, set against the magnificent backdrop of the North Barrule Hills and the ancient harbour town of Peel with its fortified cathedral enclave.

South Island Tour
Another full day, touring the South of the Island and taking in Port Erin, Cragneash village at the tip of the island with views of Calf Sound and Calf of Man and stopping at Castletown, the ancient capital of the island, dominated by Castle Rushen.

Laxey Wheel
Enjoy a half day excursion to the attractive former mining village of Laxey with its spectacular water wheel. We include admission to the Great Laxey Wheel itself where you can see her workings up close, hear stories of the Laxey Miners and enjoy panoramic views from the top of the wheel.

Hydro Hotel –Douglas

This traditional hotel, situated on the Queen’s Promenade, offers modern facilities whilst retaining much of its original charm. The hotel restaurant offers a wide range of meals to suit all tastes and the bar is a welcoming environment to relax of an evening. Conveniently placed close to everything Douglas has to offer, there is also a couple of evenings entertainment within the hotel. There is a lift to all floors but some rooms have steps to enter.

Door to Door Pick Up

Our free Door to Door service is available to customers within 15 miles of Dunfermline / Edinburgh / Bathgate / Glasgow / Bothwell Services.

For customers living further afield, Door to Door may be available for a supplement.

Please note: You may travel with other customers in the people carrier, taxi or minibus taking you to your holiday coach. Not all members of your party may be in the same car if getting picked up at different addresses.
