For those of you who prefer to go straight to the Isle of Wight without an overnight stop we have a selection of eight day holidays to the Royal Pier Hotel. Please note the journey is lengthy and both arrival and drop off times will be late into the evening. A highlight of the tour is a trip on the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway – sure to be a great day out full of nostalgia.

Excursions

Shanklin
A visit to Shanklin, an award-winning resort located nearby Sandown. Attractions include a sandy beach and an historic gorge with dramatic waterfalls and nature trail.

Osborne House & East Cowes
East Cowes is a vibrant area for shopping, with many boutique stores mixed in with nautical stores and quirky gift shops and it is easily navigated along the pedestrianised High Street. From here we visit Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s family home and one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Isle of Wight. Highlights include private apartments including the Queen’s bedroom, nursery rooms and royal bathrooms and the Swiss Cottage – a chalet built for the royal children.

Ryde
A day exploring the largest town on the Isle of Wight with beaches which stretch right along the town. Ryde has a great selection of boutique  shops, museums and galleries for you to visit along with lots of other things to see and do along its esplanade.

Isle of Wight Steam Railway & Godshill
This railway adventure offers the sight of powerful majestic steam engines, the charm of quiet rural stations, and the friendliness of traditionally uniformed staff and will leave you with some enduring memories of a special day out. Afterwards there will be a short excursion to Godshill, a beautiful village full of thatched houses, gift shops and tea rooms.

Royal Pier Hotel – Sandown

Situated on the seafront, facing one of the finest award-winning and perhaps most popular beaches on the island, the Royal Pier was originally built by the Victorians for Princess Beatrice as her summer residence. Centrally located, just a two minute walk to the high street, the hotel offers the friendly atmosphere of a small hotel but the facilities of a large hotel, including a dining room overlooking the bay, two bars and an indoor swimming pool. There is nightly entertainment and a lift to most floors.

Door to Door Pick Up

Our free Door to Door service is available to customers within 15 miles of Dunfermline / Edinburgh / Bathgate / Glasgow / Paisley / East Kilbride / Hamilton.

For customers living further afield, Door to Door may be available for a supplement.

Please note: You may travel with other customers in the people carrier, taxi or minibus taking you to your holiday coach. Not all members of your party may be in the same car if getting picked up at different addresses.
