Lincoln offers an experience rich in history combined with modern shopping, arts and culture. There are many historic sights to explore including Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral and the medieval Bishop’s Palace plus numerous museums. There’s also a wealth of restaurants, cafes and bars- you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Lincolnshire Wolds
This is a wonderful area of countryside with rolling hills and hidden valleys, gentle streams and nestling villages. Firstly we visit Louth, the capital of the Wolds. Its riverside setting provides a scenic backdrop for the local shops, cafes and tea rooms. In the afternoon we visit Alford, a charming market town which has become an important centre for arts and crafts.
