Glamis Castle & the Fair City
Visit the finest castle in Scotland, winner of the best attraction award for the UK 2015. The castle is famed as being the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. After our guided tour of the castle we head to Perth, once upon a time the capital of Scotland and a picturesque playground for kings and queens. Today, the city is laced with gorgeous city architecture and an intriguing royal history.
Victoria & Albert Museum & City of Discovery
Dundee’s hugely anticipated V&A Museum opened in September 2018 and tells a global story, investigating the international importance of design
alongside presenting Scotland’s outstanding design achievements. Entry is free but there may be some charges for certain exhibition areas. Later
in the day you can explore the rest of the this waterfront city which hosts attractions including the Discovery Point detailing Captain Scott’s
remarkable Antarctic expedition.
Stately St Andrews & Arbroath
We head south to St Andrews – the world famous home of golf. As well as great sporting tradition the town also offers two fine beaches and a variety of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. On the way home we stop off at Arbroath which is famous for the “Smokie” (flamed haddock). Attractions include the beach, marina and the Abbey.
