Covid-secure holidays with Eclipse
The safety of our holidaymakers and employees is always our priority. For that reason we will always follow government advice and will only run tours when it is safe to do so. We have achieved the Visit Scotland Good to Go accreditation for the procedures we have implemented.
Safety on our coaches
We will reduce capacity on all coaches to allow for social distancing for holidaymakers from different households. This may mean that seat reservations need to be altered, but we will do everything we can to seat you as close to your requested seat as possible
All travellers will be required to use hand sanitiser provided before boarding the coach and wear a face covering for the duration of the journey. If you are medically exempt from wearing a face covering, you may be asked by the driver to provide evidence of this.
Travellers will disembark the coach from the front first.
Coaches will undergo enhanced cleaning processes daily.
Drivers will wear face coverings until all customers have boarded the coach and whilst handling luggage.
It is necessary for travellers to keep the same seat on the coach for the duration of their holiday and refrain from moving around the coach.
Please follow instructions from your driver with regards to social distancing at all times and have patience, as boarding and disembarking the coach may take longer than usual.
Safety at our partner hotels
Each hotel will have their own procedures in place for social distancing where required and increased cleaning and sanitising programmes.
Excursions during your holiday
All excursions will be adapted to allow for social distancing while still providing a memorable experience. Where this is not possible an alternative excursion will be offered.
Please wash and sanitise your hands regularly whilst out on excursions and maintain a safe distance from others.
Our office and staff
For the safety of our staff and customers, our office remains closed in line with government regulations but our phonelines remain open as usual. When we are able to reopen our office, all staff members will receive full training on our procedures and will be asked not to attend work if they are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms and to self-isolate for 14 days.
As government guidance changes regularly, our Covid-secure procedures are subject to change at short notice.
