This fabulous new tour explores the north of Scotland from our base in Dornoch with its spacious square and winding streets as well as its spectacular 13th century cathedral and unspoilt coastline.
Dolphin Spotting Cruise
Highlight of the tour is the chance to see the world’s most northerly population of Bottlenose Dolphins in the Moray Firth. An experience made all the more enjoyable by the stability and space of the boat, Dolphin Spirit.
John O'Groats & Wick
We visit John O'Groats, a small village on the north east tip of Scotland before travelling to Wick, the principal town in the far north of the mainland. The town sits astride the River Wick, stretching along both sides of Wick Bay, and holds the claim to fame of once being the busiest herring port in Europe in the mid 19th century. The remains of the Castle of Old Wick, often referred to as the Old Man of Wick, sits atop the edge of the cliffs about half a mile south of Wick Bay and overlooks the sea.
